The answer is a carbon frame with tube shapes pulled directly from professional road aero frames — because at the speeds elite BMX racers hit on a long first straight, aerodynamics matter. The asymmetrical rear stay design connects the downtube directly to the chainstays through the BB shell, creating what we call the power center: a reinforced junction that eliminates flex between pedal force and rear wheel output.
The flat mount disc system routes the brake hose internally through the chainstay — protected, clean, and aerodynamic. Universal dropout compatibility means 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm axles all work without adapters or modification. This frame was designed to win. What size should I order?
Junior (18.5" TT): roughly 4'2"–4'8". Expert (19.25" TT): 4'6"–5'0". Expert XL (20" TT): 4'10"–5'4". Pro (20.5" TT): 5'2"–5'8". Pro XL (21" TT): 5'6"–5'10". Pro XXL–XXXXL: 5'9" and above. When in doubt, match your USA BMX racing class first.
What fork is compatible?
The Velox Evo runs a tapered 1-1/8" to 1.5" head tube — it requires a tapered fork across all sizes. Compatible options: Avian Versus Tapered Carbon, SD Pro Carbon V2 Tapered, Pride Apex Tapered. Not compatible with straight steerer forks.
What BB standard?
BB86 press-fit throughout the size range. Compatible with Avian BB86, Stay Strong BB86, and any standard BB86 bottom bracket.
What axle standards work in the dropout?
The Velox Evo uses a universal dropout system — 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm axles all work without adapters or modification. This is genuine universal compatibility, not "universal with adapter kit."
Can I run V-brakes?
No. The Velox Evo is flat mount disc only, with internal brake hose routing through the chainstay. No V-brake mounts are present.
What disc rotor size is compatible?
140mm flat mount. Confirm with your brake manufacturer before ordering a different size.
