BMX Race Seats
In BMX racing, the seat is one of the lowest-priority components on the bike. You're not sitting during the race — you're standing on the pedals from gate to finish. The seat is there for warm-up and cool-down riding and because UCI/USA BMX rules require one. What matters is minimum weight and a Pivotal mounting system (single-bolt installation, compatible with all Pivotal seatposts).
Range covers everything from bare plastic race seats (Sinz Satellite, Stay Strong Fast Chevron — no padding, lowest possible weight, exactly what the rulebook requires) through slim microfibre seats with light padding for training comfort (Stay Strong Icon Patch, Stay Strong Mid Pivotal). All use the Pivotal mounting standard.
If your rider sits during recovery laps and warm-up, a Stay Strong Warmdown Seatpost Extender is a better solution than a padded seat — it raises the post to a comfortable pedalling height in seconds and removes before racing.
