BMX Brake Cables

A brake cable kit contains the inner wire, outer housing, end caps, and ferrules needed for a complete brake cable replacement. BMX race bikes use a single rear brake — the cable runs from the lever on the handlebar to the caliper on the rear wheel. If your lever feel is spongy, if the brake rubs when it shouldn't, or if the housing is kinked, replace the full kit.

Avian Linear Brake Cable (our owned brand) — 55" low-friction alloy housing, 63" teflon-coated inner wire, 3 CNC alloy cable ends, 2 ferrules. Teflon coating on the inner wire reduces cable friction through the housing, which improves lever feel and modulation. Available in Black, Grey, and White. Sinz BMX Brake Cable — steel coil housing, ED black inner wire, 3 housing caps and 2 ferrules. Available in Black, Red, Blue, White, Purple, and Pink for riders who want their cable to match their build colourway.
