BMX Race Chains
A BMX race chain is a single-speed chain — no derailleur, full power transfer on every pedal stroke with no slack in the system. The two variables that matter are pin construction (standard pin vs hollow pin) and overall chain quality (consistency of pin and roller dimensions affects how quietly and smoothly the chain runs).
Hollow pin chains remove material from inside each pin to reduce weight — the right choice for smaller riders where every gram matters, and for riders who are already running a light build and want to optimise further. Standard pin chains are heavier but more durable under the higher torque loads of larger, more powerful riders.
Sinz BMX Race Chains in both hollow pin and standard pin, in silver and black. Both are 1/8" pitch — compatible with all standard BMX single-speed drivetrains.
