BMX Race Wheels

A matched wheelset is more than the sum of its hubs and rims. When hubs, spokes, and rims are laced and tensioned as a system by someone who knows what they're doing, you get a wheel that runs true for longer, transmits power more efficiently, and fails less often than a wheel built from mismatched components. Pre-built wheelsets from Avian and Stay Strong are built to this standard.

Avian AR740 Carbon Wheelset — Simon Marquart ran Avian gear when he won the Elite World Championship. The AR740 hub uses an interchangeable driver system (Shimano and SRAM/XDR drivers available separately), replaceable sealed cartridge bearings, and carbon rims front and rear. 24H lacing. Stay Strong Reactiv 2 BMX Race Wheelset — the Mini and Junior class upgrade option, pre-built with Reactiv 2 hubs and alloy rims.

Replacement hub components (bearings, drivers, cone washers) are stocked separately for the AR740 — this is a hub you service rather than replace.
