The Pride Racing Apex Tapered Carbon BMX Fork is what Jeremy Rencurel runs on the UCI World Cup circuit — validated through months of intensive racing before it went on sale. Two-part construction: HM Toray carbon fiber legs for stiffness and weight, 7000-series alloy tapered steerer for impact resistance and stem clamping durability. That's the correct material split — carbon where you want stiffness, alloy where you want strength under clamping loads.
The StemLock compression bolt system eliminates star nuts and expander plugs from the steerer tube entirely. One bolt, five-side Allen key, done. If you've ever dealt with a cracked steerer from an overtightened star nut, you understand why this matters.
This is the 20" version with tapered 1-1/8" to 1.5" steerer and 20mm dropout — for frames with a tapered head tube. If your frame runs a straight 1-1/8" head tube, you need the Apex straight steerer version instead.
