About This Product Meybo 2026 TLNT 2026 Expert (19.6"TT) BMX Race Bike - Pink/White/Black

The Meybo TLNT is the right answer to a question a lot of parents ask: "what's a proper race bike that won't cost as much as a car payment?" The TLNT runs the same frame geometry as Meybo's elite race line — not a training-wheels interpretation of it, the actual geometry — in 6061-T6 aluminum with SD components throughout. What you give up versus the Clipper or Superclass is component specification, not geometry quality or frame engineering.

Available in Mini (17.5" TT) through Cruiser Pro (22" TT), each size is correctly scaled for its class — different top tube lengths, different component sizing, not one Pro bike resized. Disc brakes throughout using Shimano hydraulics for reliable, modulate-able stopping power. SD alloy cockpit, sealed hubs, and a Cr-Mo Lite fork make this a complete race setup out of the box.

If this is your child's first race bike and they're progressing from a department store bike, the TLNT will feel immediately different — because it is. The geometry is what makes you fast, and this frame has it.

Specifications

  • Frame: Meybo TLNT 6061-T6 alloy — same geometry as elite Meybo race frames
  • Fork: Cr-Mo Lite (class-appropriate per size)
  • Brake: Shimano hydraulic disc
  • Cranks: SD alloy
  • Cockpit: SD alloy handlebars and stem
  • Hubs: SD sealed bearing
  • Sizes: Mini (17.5" TT), Junior (18.5" TT), Expert (19.6" TT), Expert XL (20.7" TT), Pro XL (21.5" TT), Cruiser Pro (22" TT)

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the TLNT good enough to actually race?
Yes. The TLNT uses the same frame geometry as Meybo's elite race frames — the geometry is what makes you fast, and this frame has it. What you give up vs. the Clipper is the fork spec (straight vs. tapered Cr-Mo Lite) and brake spec. For a rider's first season of racing, none of that matters as much as having the right size frame with the right geometry. Buy the TLNT in the correct size, race it, and upgrade the fork when it makes sense.

What size should I order?
Mini (17.5" TT): riders 3'8"–4'2" (approx. 5–7 yrs). Junior (18.5" TT): 4'2"–4'8" (7–9 yrs). Expert (19.6" TT): 4'6"–5'0" (9–12 yrs). Expert XL (20.7" TT): 4'10"–5'4". Pro XL (21.5" TT): adult riders 5'6"–5'10". Cruiser Pro (22" TT, 24" wheels): any height, 8 years and up. The Micro/Rascal uses 18" wheels for very young riders. Match your USA BMX racing class first — that's the right reference, not just your child's age or height.

What's the difference between the TLNT and the Clipper?
Fork and head tube geometry. The TLNT uses a straight fork and straight head tube throughout all sizes. The Clipper uses tapered Cr-Mo Lite fork legs, and Pro 21 and above get a tapered 1.5" head tube. That fork upgrade improves steering feel and allows compatibility with carbon forks later. For a first race bike, the TLNT is the right choice. For a rider who's already racing regularly and wants a performance step, the Clipper is the upgrade.

Does it need assembly?
Yes — arrives partially assembled, professional mechanic final assembly recommended before first ride.

Is it USA BMX legal?
Yes. Legal for all USA BMX and BMX Canada sanctioned events.

BMX Race Frame Size Guide

Frame Size Top Tube Rider Height Approx. Age
Micro / Rascal 15–16" Under 3'8" 3–5 yrs
Mini 17–17.5" 3'8"–4'2" 5–7 yrs
Junior 18–18.7" 4'2"–4'8" 7–9 yrs
Expert 19–19.6" 4'6"–5'0" 9–12 yrs
Expert XL 19.9–20.6" 4'10"–5'4" 11–14 yrs
Pro / Pro XL 20.5–21.5" 5'2"–5'10" 13+ / adult
Pro XXL+ 21.5–23" 5'8" and above Adult
Cruiser 21–23" Any height 8+ (24" wheels)

Size names (Expert, Pro, etc.) refer to fit — not skill level. A beginner can ride a Pro-size frame. When in doubt between two sizes, go with your USA BMX racing class first, rider height second. Questions? Call us — we size riders every day.
