Built for the demands of modern BMX racing, the Avian Versus Carbon BMX Fork delivers the stiffness, precision, and confidence needed to perform at the highest level. Constructed with premium Toray carbon fiber, each fork is engineered to maximize front-end responsiveness while keeping weight to a minimum, giving riders the confidence to attack the first straight, rail turns, and sprint to the finish.
The Versus features Avian's integrated internal locking system, eliminating the need for traditional star nuts or expander plugs for a cleaner, stronger, and more reliable front-end. Tapered models utilize a 4mm thick 7005 aluminum steerer for exceptional strength, while the Youth and Pro models feature lightweight carbon steerers to keep overall weight incredibly low.
Internal Locking System
The integrated locking system uses an aluminum bolt. Overtightening may strip the threads.
- Recommended torque: 4–5 Nm
- Maximum torque: 5.5 Nm
Stem Clamp (1" Carbon Steerer Only)
Do not overtighten the stem side bolts. Excessive clamping force can crush or damage the carbon steerer tube, which may lead to product failure.
Always tighten according to the stem manufacturer's recommended torque specification.
Note: The Youth and Youth Cruiser forks are designed for riders weighing 115 lbs (52 kg) or less. The Pro and Pro Tapered models are intended for larger riders and do not have this rider weight restriction.
