Avian Versus Tapered fork replacement parts — the 75mm locking bolt or the fork top cap, sold individually. The locking bolt is the M10 aluminum bolt that preloads your headset and locks your stem into the steerer. If it's stripped, this is the replacement.

Why it strips: Overtightening. The spec is 4–5 Nm. 5.5 Nm is the absolute maximum. If you're replacing this bolt, use a torque wrench going forward — it's the only way to stay within spec consistently.
