The Avian Venatic Carbon BMX rim — Front. We built the Venatic to three objectives simultaneously: lowest possible rotational weight, lowest aerodynamic drag, and highest rigidity for the size. Rotational weight is the number that matters most at the gate — a lighter rim accelerates faster than a heavier one of the same spoke count, because you're moving less mass in a circle. The Venatic achieves this through standard modulus carbon fiber construction engineered for the correct stiffness-to-weight ratio for BMX rim loads, not road bike loads.
Available in six wheel size configurations covering 20" and 24" wheel classes, and in 28H and 36H spoke patterns. Select your size and spoke count from the dropdown. Front rims use a specific dish profile for the front wheel — do not substitute a rear rim on the front.
